Seagate failed me, Apple saved me
I had a hard drive fail on me recently, which just happened to be the drive with a whole lot of itunes music and videos on it. Being as clever as I am, I contacted Seagate’s Data Recovery department and talked to one of their technicians who revealed the basic cost would be $1700!

I got this in my email today from a fairly decent service. Basically, you install this program, sign up for an account ($35/year roughly) and then it automagically keeps a secure copy of your music online which can also be accessed and played via other devices like a Slim Server.
